About Us

William H. Reeve, IV is the President of Botanical Visions, Inc.  He has twenty-four years of experience in the design/horticultural trade in the South Florida region.  He is nationally certified in landscape design by the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).  He is a Florida state Certified Horticultural Professional (FCHP) by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA).    He served three terms as the President of the Broward County Chapter of the FNGLA.  He also was Chair of the Toxic Reduction Education Committee (T.R.E.C.) for the City of Ft. Lauderdale dealing with landscape architecture and pest control issues throughout the city for the past six years.  He has served on the Executive Board for the Environmental Education Council (E.E.C.) of Broward County Schools.  He was the 1989-1990 Vice President for the South Florida Interior Landscape Association (S.F.I.L.A.) and a director for the Florida Foliage Association in 1988-1989.  Bill has written publications on landscape design and pest management for the Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.) with the Department of Planning and Environmental Protection (D.P.E.P.).  He was awarded the 2002 Young Nursery Professional of the Year Award and Outstanding Chapter President for 2003 for the state by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA).

Jennifer Atwood is the Vice President of Botanical Visions, Inc.  She has thirteen years of experience in the design/horticultural trade in the South Florida region.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Virginia Tech and received the award for Outstanding Senior. She was a member and Vice President of the Horticultural Honor Society (PAX).  She completed an internship at Fairchild Tropical Garden in Miami, Florida where she worked with curators in all departments such as palms, cycads, flowering trees, tropical fruit, endangered and threatened plants, and nursery production.  In 2001, she completed a Virginia Tech garden design study tour of England, Ireland and Wales.  She creates designs for residential and commercial properties through computer and manual drafting.  In addition, she writes for various publications on a wide variety of horticultural topics.

Albert Riddle is a Registered Landscape Architect with the State of Florida with 13 years of experience in the field.  He received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida.  He is fluent in Spanish and Italian and has experience speaking and studying French.  He was a Project Manager for WCI Communities, Inc. in Coral Springs, Florida where he detailed luxury residential designs focusing on pools, pavers, fountains and garden furniture.  Some of his past projects have been Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, the Park One Plaza at Miami International Airport, the administration building of Florida International University and Miami Dade Water and Sewer Headquarters.  He received the Silver Knight Award for Artistic Achievement, the Community Appearance Award for Holy Cross Hospital and the Florida Native Plant Society Design Award for the Coral Gables Maintenance Facility, in Coral Gables, Florida.

Angelina López Catledge is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture and a Masters Degree in Horticulture.  She received the Senior Design Award by the faculty for the highest excellence in design.  She is fluent in Spanish and French and has also studied Italian.  Her work experience includes an internship with Costa Nursery Farms in La Romana, Dominican Republic, where she created designs for estates in a resort and golf community.  She also worked for the Landscape Services Department at Louisiana State University creating planting environments on campus.  She completed an independent study on the design of Parc Andre Citroen in Paris, France and traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia with Louisiana State University studying art, culture and landscape architecture.

Kenneth Mitchell is the Operations Manager for the Landscaping Installation and Maintenance divisions of Botanical Visions, Inc.  He has 9 years of experience in the horticulture trade.  He was the owner of a landscaping business specializing in landscape design, ornamental care and plant diagnostics.  He has created numerous maintenance and pest prevention programs for companies in South Florida.  He also brings many years of experience in two complimentary fields, civil engineering and environmental engineering.  Ken is a member of the Florida State Horticultural Society.  In 2004 he was enlisted with the American Society for Horticultural Sciences, the Botanical Society of America, and the American Phytopathological Society.

Kim Anaston-Karas graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of West Florida.  She was Director of the Marine Sciences Under Sails School of Environmental Education and she was also Senior Educator for the Everglades Conservation Office of the National Audubon Society.  Kim established and directed a satellite office of the National Parks Conservation Association and also directed a satellite office for Marine Habitat and Wildlife Advocacy for the Ocean Conservancy.  She was Assistant Director and grants manager for Broward Community College’s STARS Mentoring Academy (Steering Teens Toward Academic Rewards and Success).   Kim’s varied background in environmental education and design is utilized in creating native landscape projects, developing curriculum and educational programs and writing grants for schools, museums, and other public and private entities.

Michael Haaf is a Registered Landscape Architect with the State of Florida.  He completed his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida.  He has created many projects such as Increment III Wetland Mitigation for the final phase of Arvida’s development in the City of Weston.  He also designed Weston Town Center, The Ridges (a 530 acre single family residential community), Savannah Recreation Center (an award winning 11 acre community recreation facility), and Parkland Isles (a 220 acre residential community).

Robin Whisnant, General Manager, graduated from University of Miami with a Masters Degree in Business Administration and received a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Florida State University.  She brings with her over 10 years of Project Management experience.  Robin oversees contract development and works with various cities and counties to obtain the necessary permits for our projects.
