The Solution to Landscaping During Water Restrictions

Even during restrictions, the South Florida Water Management District allows new landscaping to be watered 6 days per week for the first month after installation. For the second month, new installations may be watered 4 days per week. This variance allows new plants to become established before acclimating to one day per week of watering. New landscaping may also be hose watered as needed, without restriction, provided the hose has a shut off nozzle.

The Town of Highland Beach and sites that utilize reclaimed water may utilize their irrigation systems from 12 a.m. to 10 a.m. and/or 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. every day except Friday. Drip, bubble and micro jet irrigation systems are not subject to restrictions. We proudly offer and install drip irrigation systems which not only allow for unrestricted watering, but provide up to 60% water savings by reducing evaporation, wind drift, over spray and run off. This system also reduces weed growth and plant diseases and can easily be installed around new or existing landscaping.
